Well, it's Valentine's Day and it's snowing/icing here in the Northeast at a very quick rate. This storm swept over the midwest and is currently pummeling us and will continue to do so into the evening.

Why do I deserve this?  Well, for years I've completely made fun of Valentine's Day.  I continue to think it's a really stupid holiday (and yes, I realize I'm not the only guy who thinks this) created solely for commercial purposes. It was always dumb but, with Christmas now lasting approximately three months, it's gotten even dumber. People are just beginning to dig out from their holiday bills and gift-giving stress and then, presto, another high-stress gift season!  God forbid you get married around this time of year or have a birthday to buy for in February, too. You're screwed!

So I mock Valentine's Day all the time. But this year, I wanted my sweet Watersyne to have a fun evening out in the city and I had pre-arranged for the entire evening, starting from about 4:30 PM. Naturally, with the weather, she's not at work and most of what I was planning had to be nixed anyway. Sure, I can reschedule it to another time but that just won't be the same as having done it on the famous, made-up February holiday, right?

Well, even if St. Valentine is doing this to mess with me, I don't care. I still hate you, Cupid. You suck. Put some freakin' clothes on, you freak.
